Position Summary:

Ascent360 seeks an In-house Recruiter to recruit, train and retain the right people for the right positions.  We are looking for an engaging, persuasive professional who is excited about sharing new opportunities with new audiences and who is great at developing relationships within in the SaaS community. 

This role is responsible for:

Managing all recruiting activities for Ascent360 including:

  • Update or write Job Descriptions (with Manager input)
  • Post Job Descriptions on appropriate channels
  • Manage/update Ascent360’s website postings in WordPress
  • Use LinkedIn Recruiter to actively reach out to prospects
  • Grow visible documented network of leads
  • Develop & utilize candidate tracking system (excel or outsourced software)
  • Track analytics of interviews and retention
  • Manage a hiring pipeline full of candidates from start to finish
  • Manage & update the Culture Index internal tool
  • Review all incoming resumes & handle initial candidate screens
  • Coordinate all post-initial interviews
  • Negotiate compensation & other hiring considerations
  • “Close the deal” on candidates meeting or exceeding deadlines and comp goals
  • Improve our brand and get our name out in the SaaS community as a Top 50 Employer in Outside Magazine

Coordinating Training for New Hires

  • As time allows, review and improve our Corporate Training program


  • Put in place active retention program & measure results – analyze churn quarterly & improve

Requirements for the role:


  • Proven track record in Recruiting – 3 + years
  • Proven track record in Sales role – 3+ years preferred

Knowledge & Skills

  • Outstanding communicator – both in person, written, and in groups
  • Influential personality, with the natural ability to “sell the Ascent360 story”
  • Fearless, driven, proven ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Natural sense of Urgency to meet deadlines
  • Love talking to others & building a network
  • Thrives in fast-paced, high growth, ever changing environment
  • Fluency in social media and web-based platforms
  • Consistent communication with all prospects via the telephone & in person
  • Have exceptional time management and multi-tasking skills- making sure correspondence with candidates is timely, professional, and organized
  • Proficient tech skills including (or willingness to learn) WordPress
