As CEO and president, Scott Buelter guides Ascent360's strategy and vision. His mission is to bring enterprise-level marketing capabilities to midsize businesses through a powerful CDP, allowing them to better understand their customers and achieve continual growth. Buelter draws upon his data analysis and digital marketing experience at companies such as Nike, Disney, Royal Caribbean, Loews Hotels, American Express and Samsung, as well as upon his academic background. Buelter received an MBA from the University of California–Irvine and a Bachelor of Science in economics from the University of San Diego, in addition to studying at the London School of Economics and the Institute of Education Sciences in Berlin and Vienna.
Carlos E. Perez
Chief Revenue Officer (CRO)
Carlos Perez builds on over two decades of experience spearheading revenue-growth strategies in his capacity as CRO. He is passionate about developing markets, creating lasting value for customers, driving innovation and building for long-term success. In addition to growth strategy, Perez drives sales, channel development, strategic partnerships, marketing and customer development at Ascent360. He earned an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College and a Bachelor of Science in business management from Boston College.
Chief Technology Officer (CTO)
A CTO adept at building and leading IT teams, Nayab Khan has over 20 years of data and database expertise and a passion for innovating to empower businesses. His background includes developing data warehouses; building data analysis and reporting systems; and heading teams in industries ranging from database marketing to telecommunications and consumer packaged goods. He received an MBA from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor of Science in computer science from Wichita State University.
Senior Vice President (SVP) of Client Success
Jason Root draws upon a long track record of uncovering opportunities and creating measurable key performance indicators (KPIs) that improve the client experience while increasing revenue. His work as SVP of Client Success is informed by his experience as a leader in client services, account management and operational efficiencies, with expertise in Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) implementations and digital marketing. Jason holds a Master of Science degree in organizational leadership from Colorado State University, and a Bachelor of Arts in economics from California State University, Long Beach.
